Angels and Demons (Connection 3)

As Sophies world has stated, the argument between religion and science has existed for thousands of years. When the Dark ages came around, it appeared that religion had won out, yet the renaissance changed all of that. Men like Copernicus and Kepler and Galileo fought a thousand years of religion with their new found discoveries. Of course, when going into a fight, its better to have the church on your side rather than against it, but they had no choice. Or did they?
Obviously science and religion have been enemies for years. Logic vs Faith. But I love watching movies like Angels and Demons. Although that movie disappointingly turned out out o be an action movie based on about 3 percent fact, it had some good points. Part of the plot was that there were a group of scientist trying to prove God. Crazy, right? The movie combined the cosmological and ontological theories to say that God made the big bang, thus creating everything after.
I am a fan of thoughts like this because it promotes peace between the two communities rather than fighting. When before they would destroy each other they can help to prove each other. It would be very beneficial for each side
